I really like your commitment to raw creation. Your art and your posts are great. I even listened to some of your music, and it was wicked! So I just wanted to ask, what keeps you creating, what inspires you?

Honestly, creating art is one of the only things that I feel justifies my existence most of the time. At this point the creative impulse is infused with who I am, I need to make art. As horribly pretentious and asinine as that may sound.
As for inspiration, I assume all of my interests and personal experiences end up filtering into my art eventually. In terms of influence, I dig all sorts of art… A lot of the comix artists on tumblr have been inspiring me a lot as of late…
