Hmm, i somehow missed this post! Olympia comics fest passed a few weeks ago i think :P
But anyway, if you ARE in the northwestern region, Happiness #2 is now at floating world in portland! woo. also um i AM mailing out the remaining orders on monday, and noticed a fair amount of portland-area addressees thar. so thank you, portland!
Woo! I’ll be super happy to get mine, and portland peeps should check it out at floating world. Also, uh, checkout Odium Comix too. But just generally go there is you like comics cause it rules.
I went to floating world comics today, got some good stuff by Julie Doucet, R. Crumb, Gina Siciliano and some issues of Skim Lizard and Zap Comix. All good stuff.
I also looked through a shitload of great comics I was too cheap / poor to buy and talked to a dude about stocking odium comix when it comes out.
Floating World is really great. I’m very glad it exists.

Floating World is the shit, I always get bummed out that I’m poor when I go there, they have so much great stuff I always have to hang out and have an internal debate on which comix I’m going to spend my $10 or whatever on.
If you like comics/zines/visual art in general, you need to go here if you’re in the area.
Got a copy of Happiness Comix at Floating World today. I’m stoked. Only read a bit of it so far, but it’s pretty damn awesome.
May possibly do a review of it once I’m done with it, been wanting to do more reviews / rants about stuff.
Scored some comix
I finally got off my ass and went downtown to Reading Frenzy and Floating World Comics.
I managed to pickup two copies of Zap Comix, one issue of Weirdo, the first Dirty Plotte and a bunch of $1 comix and zines… At floating world they have so much good stuff… I was bummed I had a $20 budget… They have lots of older and contemporary stuff I’m into..
I looked though the new snakebomb, it looked awesome, also Thickness and 1800 mice looked pretty rad. Damn poverty and being a responsible adult!
